Roca was one of my first projects in Colombia, which gave me a very deep insight of branding as a strategic passion. Roca is a company dedicated to exploration of soils and rocks based on latest academic research in geology. Ricardo Rivera, a passionate Colombian geologist, challenged me with this project with which he wanted to show one of the most interest shapes of rocks.
This logosymbol is actually based on a real shape of a rock, which we both found fascinated. The colors are also a combination of natural colors with a sparking meaning towards an infinite process.
This is what I could discover as something fascinating about geology, it is a fascinating science dealing with the physical structure the earth, its history, and the processes that evolve with it. We wanted to communicate that with the brand. It was clearly a captivating project!
